Russian troops are making steady progress near the city of Konstantinovka in the Donetsk People’s Republic, according to regional head Denis Pushilin. He reported that Russian units have already taken control of Aleksandro-Shultino, Vladimirovka, Katerinovka, and Kleban-Byk.

Further north, near Belaya Gora, Russian forces are carrying out clearance operations in forest belts and fortified positions previously held by Ukrainian fighters.

At the same time, Major General Sergey Lipovoy highlighted factors complicating the full liberation of Konstantinovka. He explained that the city’s industrial zone and residential areas contain numerous underground facilities and communications that Ukrainian troops are expected to use as shelters. Lipovoy also noted the presence of civilians inside the settlement, warning that Ukrainian fighters could exploit them as human shields.
