Situation on the Front Line: Russian Troops Advance in Several Directions as of August 25


By August 25, Russian troops advanced near Shakhovo, Krasnoarmeysk, Seversk, Kupyansk, and Volchansk, while heavy battles continue in Zaporozhye and Sumy directions.
Russian forces continue their military operation in Ukraine. By the morning of August 25, the situation along the front line was as follows:
Konstantinovka direction
Russian units are maneuvering to encircle Shakhovo from the side of Poltavka and advancing near Rusin Yar. Sources report clearing operations south of the Kleban-Byk reservoir and clashes west of Aleksandro-Shultino. Troops have also moved toward Mayskoye.
Krasnoarmeysk (Pokrovsk) direction
Russian forces are consolidating positions near Udachnoye and holding the Lysovka-Sukhoy Yar line. Fighting continues around Rodinskoye and north of Krasnoarmeysk (Ukrainian name — Pokrovsk). Ukrainian units attempted a counterattack near Dobropolye, but it was repelled. Battles are ongoing near Zolotoy Kolodez and Kuchery Yar.
Krasny Liman direction
Russian troops improved their positions near Torskoye and continued attacks in the Zarichnoye area, advancing along the road toward Yampol.
Seversk direction
Russian forces are pushing Ukrainian fighters out of the Kremensky forest. Combat is taking place along the northern bank of the Seversky Donets River from Grigorovka to Dronovka, where Russian groups are infiltrating the rear and striking enemy positions.
Ugledar direction
Russian units captured the settlement of Filiya and are now engaged in battles on the approaches to Novopavlovka.
Zaporozhye direction
Heavy fighting continues near Plavni, Kamenskoye, and Stepnogorsk. No significant changes to the line of contact have been recorded.
Sumy direction
Russian forces have fully cleared the right-bank part of Yunakovka and are now fighting in the left-bank section of the settlement.
Kupyansk direction
Tactical gains were reported near Kondrashovka, north of Kupyansk.
Volchansk direction
Russian troops are expanding their control over the left bank of the Volchya River with active air support. The offensive continues toward Ambarnoye and Khatnee.
