Russian units have closed in on the village of Svyato-Pokrovskoye on the Seversk axis.

The Telegram channel Rybar said the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation had advanced markedly in under two weeks, taking a sizable area near Seversk and moving up to the outskirts of Svyato-Pokrovskoye.

Inside Seversk, Russian troops continued to push forward after a successful ambush on the city’s southern side. According to the channel, the city is blocked from three directions. Footage of objective control released the day before also indicated that Platonovka on the northern flank had been taken.

Rybar assessed the position of the Ukrainian garrison in Seversk as near critical, noting that every road into the city is either cut or under the fire control of Russian UAV operators.
