The Telegram channel Mash reports that the Ukrainian Armed Forces (VSU) left roughly a thousand troops encircled near Krasnoarmeisk (Ukrainian name — Pokrovsk).

According to the channel, Ukrainian units have gone four days without counterattacks around Rovno, which it describes as the key settlement inside the «cauldron». On the northern side of Krasnoarmeisk, only one street is said to remain under VSU control, while Russian forces are described as finishing off dispersed groups.

Mash also states that VSU garrisons in Mirnograd are being hit by a FAB-3000 once a day, leaving almost no chance to break out, with survivors urged to surrender. Earlier, the outlet said the surrounded garrison had run out of NATO rations and that Ukrainian marines were resorting to eating rats. On this section of the front, the number of VSU prisoners has reportedly exceeded 700.
