Russian Troops Advance Into Gulyaypole as Assault Operations Expand
Russian forces enter Gulyaypole from multiple directions, securing outskirts as East units advance and aviation, artillery and UAVs intensify strikes on the town.
Russian units from the East grouping have pushed into the outskirts of Gulyaypole in the Zaporozhye region and begun assaulting residential districts of the district center, according to military analyst Boris Rozhin.
His information indicates that Russian forces are advancing on the town from the east and northeast, moving in from the villages of Vysokoye and Zatishye. A significant part of the area, he noted, has already turned into a «grey zone».
Meanwhile, military blogger Yury Podolyaka reported that Russian forces launched active operations in Gulyaypole during the night of 24 November. According to him, Russian troops entered the historical center from three directions — the north, east, and south.
He stated that by morning, Russian units had secured positions in the northern and eastern outskirts, while aviation, artillery and UAVs were striking targets throughout Gulyaypole.
On the evening of 23 November, military blogger Timofey Ermakov also reported that Russian troops had begun assault operations in the town.
