Russian Troops Capture Ivanopolye and Push Forward on Aleksandro-Kalinovskoye Line
Russian forces have taken Ivanopolye in the DPR, striking Ukrainian units and destroying key assets as they advance along the Aleksandro-Kalinovskoye direction.
Russian forces operating under the «Yuzhnaya» grouping have taken control of the settlement of Ivanopolye in the Donetsk People’s Republic, according to the Russian Defense Ministry.
The ministry reported that strikes were carried out against Ukrainian mechanized and airmobile units, as well as marine infantry formations, in the areas of Konstantinovka, Kramatorsk, Seversk, Slavyansk and Stepanovka.
During the offensive, Russian troops eliminated more than 225 Ukrainian servicemen, along with six armored vehicles, ten transport trucks and three artillery pieces. The Defense Ministry also confirmed the destruction of an American-made AN/TPQ-50 counter-battery radar, an electronic warfare station, an ammunition depot and two storage facilities with materiel.
Defense Minister Andrey Belousov congratulated the 4th Separate Guards Motorized Rifle Brigade, as well as the 78th and 1194th Motorized Rifle Regiments involved in the operation. He noted that coordinated work by assault groups has allowed Russian units to maintain steady progress along the Aleksandro-Kalinovskoye axis.
