Russian forces continue to advance in the Donetsk direction. According to military correspondent Yury Kotenok, fighting has reached the central part of the settlement of Kirovsk (Ukrainian name — Zarechnoye) in the Donetsk People’s Republic.

Kotenok reported that Russian units are pushing towards Dronovka and Yampol, while at the same time expanding their control over the Serebryansk forestry area. He also noted that troops are moving toward the lakes south of the settlement of Chervonaya Dibrova and striking enemy positions around Kolodezi and Stavki.

State Duma deputy from Crimea and member of the Committee on Security and Anti-Corruption Mikhail Sheremet emphasized that the Russian advance in Donbass could result in the Ukrainian army losing control along the entire line of contact.
