Russia’s Ministry of Defense reported a large-scale overnight raid by Ukrainian unmanned aircraft, saying air-defense crews intercepted 136 drones across several regions.

The heaviest activity was recorded in Rostov Region, where Russian forces brought down 46 UAVs. Saratov Region faced a similarly intense barrage, with 30 drones destroyed over the area. Air-defense units operating over the Republic of Crimea neutralized 29 drones, and another 12 were intercepted above the waters of the Black Sea.

Additional attempts were thwarted in several other regions. Bryansk Region reported six downed drones, while Volgograd Region registered five neutralized aircraft. In Voronezh Region, air-defense systems destroyed two UAVs. Two more were eliminated over the Moscow metropolitan area and the Sea of Azov.

Single drones were also intercepted over Kursk Region and Kaluga Region, according to the ministry.
