Russian Forces Advance in Multiple Sectors as Fighting Intensifies Near Pokrovsk, Seversk and Kupyansk
Russian forces report advances near Pokrovsk, Seversk, Gulyaypole and Kupyansk, with heavy fighting and clearing operations ongoing across several frontline sectors.
The Russian Armed Forces continue their special military operation in Ukraine. As of November 28, the situation along the line of contact is as follows.
Pokrovsk Direction
Intense fighting continues north of Udachnoye and Kotlino. Eight Ukrainian counterattacks were repelled in Grishino. Clearing operations are underway in Krasnoarmeysk and Dimitrov. Ukrainian units have been isolated in Rodinskoye. Russian forces are advancing toward Sofiyevka and Toretskoye.
Seversk Direction
Vasyukovka has been liberated. Fighting continues near Bondarnoye and Svyato-Pokrovskoye. In Seversk, Russian units have reached the railway station and are striking targets in Ozyornoye.
Gulyaypole Direction
Russian reconnaissance and sabotage groups are operating on the eastern outskirts of Gulyaypole. There is also Russian advancement toward Varvarovka and clearing operations in the northern part of Novopavlovka.
Zaporozhye Direction
Positional battles are ongoing in Primorskoye, Stepnogorsk and Novodanilovka.
Krasny Liman Direction
Fighting continues in Drobyshevo, Stavki and Dibrova. Clashes also persist on the outskirts of Krasny Liman.
Kupyansk Direction
The situation remains difficult: heavy fighting is taking place near Kupyansk-Uzlovoy. Ukrainian forces are attempting to counterattack Russian positions.
Konstantinovka Direction
Fighting continues in the southeastern part of the city and in the Markovo-Novomarkovo area.
