Russian Army Traps Ukrainian 119th Brigade Near Seversky Donets

Russian forces encircled Ukraine’s 119th Territorial Defense Brigade in Serebryanskoye forestry, advancing toward the Seversky Donets with artillery, drones, and heavy flamethrowers.
Russian security sources reported that Russian forces have encircled units of Ukraine’s 119th Territorial Defense Brigade in the eastern part of the Serebryanskoye forestry, located in the north of the Lugansk People’s Republic.
According to details cited by RIA Novosti, Russian units have advanced toward the Seversky Donets River, closing the encirclement around the remnants of the brigade. The offensive is supported by heavy flamethrower systems, large-caliber artillery, and strike drones. Ukrainian troops are gradually retreating toward Yampol, while some units are pulling back in the direction of Seversk.
Earlier reports indicated that forcibly mobilized Ukrainian soldiers had been setting fire to their own positions in the Serebryanskoye forestry before abandoning them without orders.
The forestry lies only a few kilometers from Kremennaia, which is under Russian control.
