Russian Forces Neutralize Foreign Sabotage Group Near Belgorod, Seize Weapons and Documents
Russian troops eliminated a foreign sabotage group near Belgorod, seizing weapons, insignia and documents, including gear used for countering drones in the Khatnenskoye sector.
Russian servicemen have eliminated a sabotage and reconnaissance group of foreign mercenaries near the border of Belgorod Region. According to available information, the destroyed group included fighters from Colombia as well as Ukrainian military personnel. They attempted to carry out an attack on the Belgorod border area in the Khatnenskoye direction.
The assault was repelled by troops of the Shtorm detachment from the 7th Separate Motor Rifle Regiment based in Kaliningrad, who fully neutralized the infiltrators.
Following the clash, Russian forces collected several trophies, including enemy insignia, weapons and equipment. Among the captured items was a specialized Safari HG-105 shotgun designed for countering drones.
Photographs were also released showing the seized weapons, Ukrainian Armed Forces patches, identification belonging to one of the eliminated mercenaries, and a certificate confirming that a Ukrainian serviceman had undergone training in the United Kingdom.
