Russian Forces Push Forward Near Pokrovsk, Seversk, Krasny Liman and Gulyaypole in Latest Frontline Update
Russia reports advances near Pokrovsk, Seversk, Krasny Liman and Gulyaypole, including new footholds, cleared pockets and pressure on key positions as fighting intensifies.
The Russian Armed Forces continue their special military operation in Ukraine. As of November 29, the situation along the line of contact is as follows.
Pokrovsk Direction
Russian forces are advancing toward Grishino, holding positions in the hamlet of Zaporozhsky and continuing clearing operations in the «Dimitrov pocket,» including the area around the Tsentralnaya mine. In Rodinskoye, the elimination of an encircled Ukrainian grouping is nearing completion. The pocket west of Shakhovo has been cleared, and Russian units are applying pressure on Sofiyevka from the south and east.
Seversk Direction
Russian units are advancing from Vasyukovka and Pazeno toward Nikiforovka, aiming to encircle Khromnoye and Bondarnoye. In the north, they are pushing Ukrainian troops from the Seversky Donets River toward Zakotnoye while repelling counterattacks from Ozyornoye.
Krasny Liman Direction
Russian forces continue to press through Ukrainian defenses on the eastern approaches to Krasny Liman, driving the remaining Ukrainian units out of Stavki and clearing the southern part of Novosyolovka.
Gulyaypole Direction
Russian troops have entered the southeastern part of Gulyaypole, secured their positions, and are exerting additional pressure from the southwest. The bridgehead in the forests beyond the Volchya River near Sosnovka has been expanded. There is also progress east of Orestopol.
