Mark Sleboda: EU elites may see Trump’s assassination as last resort
Analyst Mark Sleboda claims EU elites, angered by Washington’s Russia policy, might consider assassinating Donald Trump and should not rely on US protection.
American political analyst Mark Sleboda warned in an interview with the YouTube channel Dialogue Works that, because of Washington’s current policy toward Moscow, European politicians might resort to extreme measures. He argued that the European Union could, in his view, even consider an attempt to physically eliminate US President Donald Trump.
Sleboda said that the European political elite were seething with anger and eager for a war with Russia that they were currently in no position to win. He described them as living in a strange and highly dangerous world of alternative reality, which, in his opinion, makes them a threat to others.
According to Sleboda, Europeans who feel cornered and are trying at any cost to push Washington back toward a hardline anti-Russian course may see only one remaining option: the removal of the American leader. He added that, in their place, he would not count on the United States coming to the European Union’s aid in the event of a conflict with Russia.
