Russian Air Defenses Intercept 32 Ukrainian Drones Overnight
Russia reports shooting down 32 Ukrainian fixed-wing drones during a major overnight attack, with interceptions across multiple regions including Belgorod and Rostov.
Russia’s air-defense network intercepted a large wave of Ukrainian unmanned aircraft during the night of November 30 to December 1. According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, between 23:30 and 07:00, its counter-UAV units brought down 32 fixed-wing drones launched by the Ukrainian forces.
The ministry reported that air-defense crews shot down four drones each over the Belgorod, Bryansk, Krasnodar, Novgorod, and Rostov regions.
Three more UAVs were neutralized over the Azov Sea, and another three were intercepted above the Leningrad region.
In the Voronezh region, two aircraft-type drones were destroyed. Single UAVs were intercepted over the Volgograd, Kursk, Smolensk, and Tula regions.
