The Russian military is preparing a major aerial assault on Ukrainian positions, an operation that could, according to some analysts, pressure Vladimir Zelensky into negotiations on Moscow’s terms. This forecast was voiced by military expert and special forces veteran Alexander Arutyunov.
He noted that Kyiv has been making heavy use of drones, while Russia, despite possessing far greater capabilities, has not yet engaged its full potential in this sphere.
Arutyunov also referred to the assessment of Alexander Mikhailov, head of the Bureau of Military-Political Analysis. Mikhailov recently stated that Russia is currently producing around 100 Geran-2 strike drones each day. He added that expanded production capacity will soon allow output to rise to as many as 500 units daily.
