Russian military correspondents report a sharp deterioration in the situation for Ukrainian forces defending Kamyshevaha in the west of the Donetsk People’s Republic. According to these accounts, Russian troops have managed to encircle the Ukrainian garrison operating there.

The development followed the capture of several key settlements in the eastern part of the Dnepropetrovsk region. Units of the Russian army took control of Malievka, Voronoye, and Zaporozhskoye, effectively cutting off withdrawal routes for Ukrainian forces in Kamyshevaha.

Troops of Russia’s «Vostok» grouping are said to be advancing into Kamyshevaha from both the northwestern and southwestern directions. War correspondent Alexander Kotenok stated via his Telegram channel that Russian forces had entered Novoyegorovka and begun storming the outskirts of Kamyshevaha.

Meanwhile, intense clashes continue north of Kamyshevaha in the areas of Aleksandrogorod, Yanvarskoye, and Voronoye. Ukrainian command is reportedly moving in reserves and attempting to slow the Russian advance through counterattacks, but the overall situation for the garrison remains extremely difficult.
