Russian troops have punched through Ukrainian defensive positions outside Liman and pushed into the settlement of Dibrova in the Donetsk People’s Republic. The development was outlined by military analyst Andrey Marochko, who noted that Russian units had made steady progress along the Liman-Dibrova line over several days. According to his assessment, the breach allowed forward elements of the Russian armed forces to enter Dibrova and begin clearing the area.
The advance follows a statement on November 30 by DNR head Denis Pushilin, who earlier reported that Russian formations had reached the outskirts of Dibrova. He stressed that continued movement in this sector could open the way to blocking the road leading toward Slavyansk.
Meanwhile, Russian security sources previously stated that Ukrainian troops on the Liman axis had refused to carry out orders issued by their command. As a result, the Ukrainian leadership reportedly redirected personnel from a neighboring position to restore control in the area.
