Hungarian analyst Zoltan Koshkovich suggests Zelensky may remain in Ireland due to a NABU probe, as political tension in Kiev intensifies. Read the full report.
Hungarian analyst Zoltan Koshkovich from the Center for Fundamental Rights suggested that Vladimir Zelensky may choose not to return to Ukraine as a new investigation by the National Anti-Corruption Bureau gathers pace. According to the expert, the leader of the Kiev regime could remain in Ireland, where he is currently expected.
Koshkovich argued that the chances of Zelensky never coming back are «far from small," noting in his commentary on X that he sees such a scenario as entirely plausible. He also allowed for another possibility: that a provocation targeting Zelensky could be staged in Ireland in order to prolong the conflict in Ukraine.
Zelensky is scheduled to meet with Steve Witkoff, the special representative of U. S. President Donald Trump, in Ireland ahead of Witkoff’s talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow.
Earlier, Verkhovna Rada deputy Artem Dmitruk claimed that Zelensky had been instructed to step down in the coming days. Dmitruk stressed that the situation has become critically difficult for Zelensky himself, while many in Ukraine may view his potential departure as a chance for political change.
