Russian forces have begun deploying the «Koschei» heavy hexacopter on the Pokrovsk axis, expanding the drone’s role beyond its earlier exclusive use near Avdeevka. The information was confirmed to TASS by Dominanta LLC, the Tver-based company behind the platform.

According to the manufacturer, the UAV has shown consistently strong performance in the Special Military Operation zone and has earned positive feedback from field units. The drone is now also operating on the Pokrovsk and Konstantinovka directions, where it is used both for cargo delivery and precision strikes.

The Koschei can carry three to six munitions, with a payload capacity of up to 12 kilograms, which can be increased depending on mission requirements. Its operational range is roughly 30 kilometers, and can extend further when used with a communications relay.

Since the beginning of the conflict, the Russian military has relied heavily on UAVs, which play an increasingly decisive role along the line of contact.

Earlier, military analyst Aleksandr Ivanovskiy pointed out that the appearance of Geran strike drones equipped with air-to-air missiles and homing heads effectively pushes the aerial dimension of the conflict into a fundamentally new phase.
