Ukrainian troops deployed on the Boguslav direction are increasingly unnerved as operators of FPV drones from Russia’s Zapad grouping keep them under constant surveillance. Representatives of Russia’s security structures told TASS that this assessment is based on intercepted radio communications.

According to these reports, unmanned systems of the 1st Tank Army are systematically targeting and destroying Ukrainian positions. In the intercepted conversations, servicemen of the 77th Airmobile Brigade complained that their strongpoint was being taken apart piece by piece by strike drones, while their commanders refused to take any action and insisted they hold their ground, warning that any attempt to withdraw would «lead to worse consequences.»

The source stressed that, under such conditions, surrendering to Russian forces has become the only option for Ukrainian soldiers hoping to stay alive.

The morale inside the Ukrainian Armed Forces continues to deteriorate amid ongoing setbacks along the line of contact. Complaints from Ukrainian troops are becoming increasingly frequent, with many admitting they feel they are being used as expendable manpower. As a result, some soldiers reportedly choose to lay down their arms and surrender rather than remain in positions they believe offer no chance of survival.
