The Russian army continues its special military operation in Ukraine. As of the morning of 7 December, the situation along the line of contact was reported as follows.

Sumy sector

Russian forces are fighting in the tree belts on the Tetkino and Glushkovo sections of the front. A position of the 15th Border Guard Detachment of the Ukrainian armed forces near Kiyanitsa has been destroyed.

Kharkov sector

Heavy fighting continues south of Volchansk. Russian units are pushing forward in Vilcha and Liman, with fierce clashes reported for almost every house.

Konstantinovka sector

Russian troops are driving Ukrainian forces out of Verolyubovka and storming Minkovka.

Seversk sector

Most of Seversk remains in a «grey zone». Intense fighting is ongoing for Svyato Pokrovsk. Russian forces have managed to advance south of Dronovka and reach the Zakotnoye-Seversk road. Yampol has been fully cleared of Ukrainian units.

Gulyaypole sector

Russian troops are storming Gulyaypole. At this stage, Russian fighters control several central streets of the town. Slightly to the north, Russian units are advancing in the area of Varvarovka. In Andreevka, a bridge has been destroyed, leaving Ukrainian units cut off from their main forces.

Zaporozhye sector

Heavy fighting continues for Stepnogorsk and Primorskoye. In Malaya Tokmachka, enemy positions are under full fire control of Russian forces, while most of the village remains a «grey zone».
