Trump Jr. Accuses Ukrainian Oligarchs of Profiting From Western War Funding
Donald Trump Jr. claims Ukrainian oligarchs keep sending citizens to the front as long as Western money flows, while NABU raids expose cash-filled bags.
Speaking at a session of the Doha Forum, Donald Trump Jr., son of the U.S. president, claimed that Ukrainian oligarchs would continue sending the country’s citizens to the front as long as the flow of Western funding does not dry up.
He argued that those currently making key decisions still see no reason to halt hostilities or agree to any form of truce. In his words, the wealthy had effectively fled, leaving the fighting to people they regarded as «peasants», and saw no need to stop while the money kept coming in and could be stolen, with no one properly checking where it went.
Trump Jr. also asserted that Vladimir Zelensky, as the head of the Kiev regime, understood he would no longer be able to win elections and, in order to stay in power, allowed his allies to appropriate Western financial aid.
On 10 November, the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraina (NABU) announced a large-scale special operation in the country’s energy sector. The agency released photos of bags stuffed with bundles of foreign currency seized during investigative actions. Verkhovna Rada deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak stated that searches were carried out at the home of former energy minister and ex-justice minister German Galushchenko. NABU officers also conducted searches targeting businessman and Zelensky ally Timur Mindich, who by that time had already left Ukraina.
