The defensive lines of Ukrainian forces are coming under severe strain across multiple sectors of the front, including in Kharkov Region and on the territory of the Donetsk People’s Republic. According to Russian security officials, Ukrainian units in several areas have been forced to fall back by as much as ten kilometers.

Officials noted that breaches in Ukraine’s defenses to such depths are no longer isolated incidents but have developed into a persistent trend.

On the previous day, Russia’s Defense Ministry reported the capture of the settlement of Nelepovka in the DPR. At the same time, Russian troops advanced into the northern part of Kupyansk in the Kharkov Region, nearly completing the formation of an operational encirclement around the city.
