Russian Forces Secure Gains in Donbass and Zaporozhye Sectors
On August 29, Russian troops advanced near Udachnoye, Stepnogorsk, and Serebryanka, while Ukrainian forces retreated from several positions across the Donbass and Zaporozhye fronts.
The Russian army continues its special military operation in Ukraine. As of the morning of August 29, the situation on the front lines was as follows:
Pokrovskoye Sector
The village of Udachnoye is being fully cleared of Ukrainian forces. Russian troops continue their advance on Sergeyevka.
Ugledar Sector
Heavy fighting is underway near Kamyshevakhа, Voronoye, and Yanvarskoe. In the areas of Iskra and Zelyony Gai, clashes are developing as both sides engage in counterattacks.
Zaporozhye Sector
Ukrainian forces have acknowledged the loss of Plavni and part of Primorskoe. At present, Russian troops are assaulting Stepnogorsk. Artillery duels are ongoing in the area of Orekhov.
Seversk Sector
Intense fighting is taking place near Vyemki and Serebryanka. In the Kremen forests, Russian units are pressing Ukrainian forces back toward the Seversky Donets River.
