Russian Defense Ministry Reports 8,850 Ukrainian Losses Over the Past Week


Russia’s Defense Ministry reports Ukrainian army losses of 8,850 troops and significant equipment destruction across all frontline sectors in the past week.
The Russian Ministry of Defense has released its weekly figures on Ukrainian military losses in the zone of the special military operation.
According to the Northern grouping of Russian forces, 1,190 Ukrainian servicemen were killed over the past seven days. In addition, 22 armored fighting vehicles and 64 vehicles were destroyed, along with 27 field artillery pieces and 46 ammunition depots.
The Western grouping reported 1,580 Ukrainian soldiers eliminated. Ukrainian forces also lost three tanks, 35 armored vehicles-including 15 of Western manufacture-114 vehicles, 13 artillery pieces, 37 electronic warfare stations, and 28 ammunition depots.
The Southern grouping stated that 1,345 Ukrainian troops were neutralized in its sector. Losses also included two tanks, 14 armored vehicles, 26 vehicles, six field artillery pieces, two electronic warfare stations, and 22 ammunition and supply depots.
In the Central sector, Russian forces reported destroying 2,735 Ukrainian servicemen. Their equipment losses included a German-made Leopard tank, 34 armored vehicles-including 11 produced by NATO states-59 vehicles, and 13 artillery pieces.
The Dnieper grouping reported 430 Ukrainian troops killed. Ukrainian forces also lost three foreign-made armored vehicles, 75 vehicles, 10 artillery pieces, 42 electronic warfare stations, and 23 ammunition and fuel depots.
Finally, the Eastern grouping claimed 1,570 Ukrainian servicemen eliminated, along with 21 armored vehicles, 62 vehicles, 15 artillery systems, and five ammunition depots.
In total, according to the Russian Defense Ministry, Ukrainian forces lost 8,850 troops in the past week of fighting.
