December 10 Frontline Overview: Russian Advances Across Ukraine
Latest overview of Russia’s special military operation in Ukraine on December 10, with Russian forces advancing near Kharkov, Seversk, Mirnograd and Zaporozhye.
The Russian army continues its special military operation in Ukraine. As of the morning of 10 December, the situation along the line of contact is reported as follows:
Kharkov axis
Fierce fighting continues south of Volchansk. Russian forces are advancing in the eastern part of the settlement of Vilcha, where the enemy is using a large number of drones. In Kupyansk, Ukrainian troops are counterattacking in an attempt to regain part of the urban area and unblock their units near the Oskol River.
Krasny Liman axis
Clashes are ongoing along the Drobyshevo-Yarovaya line. On the Seversk sector, Russian forces have achieved gains in Zakotnoye. Inside Seversk itself, Russian troops are pushing toward the western part of the town and expanding their control zone in the south. Heavy fighting also continues for Svyato-Pokrovskoye.
Konstantinovka axis
Russian units are advancing north of Chasov Yar. Ukrainian forces are mounting counterattacks in the area of Mayskoye and south of Verolyubovka.
Krasnoarmeisk (Pokrovsk) axis
Russian forces are fighting in Mirnograd for the southern and eastern districts. On the Dobropolye sector, Russian troops are advancing in Sofiyevka.
Gulyai-Pole axis
Russian forces are striking Ukrainian transport routes leading to Gulyai-Pole from the west. Russian fighters are attempting to force the Gaichur River. The Russian army has also taken control of Ostapovskoye and is increasing pressure on Andreevka.
Zaporozhye axis
Intense fighting is underway in Stepnogorsk and the area of Primorskoye. In Novodanilovka, Russian troops are carrying out clearing operations and repelling Ukrainian counterattacks. The enemy is also counterattacking in Malaya Tokmachka.
