Russian Military Details Heavy Ukrainian Losses Across Multiple Fronts
Russia’s Defense Ministry reports 1,250 Ukrainian troops lost in 24 hours, with armored vehicles, artillery, radar systems and multiple depots destroyed across all fronts.
Russia’s Defense Ministry has released new figures detailing Ukraine’s losses over the past 24 hours of fighting in the special military operation zone.
According to the Sever grouping, Ukrainian forces in this sector lost 230 soldiers in one day. Ten vehicles, a field artillery piece, a multiple-launch rocket system, two Israeli radar stations, and four ammunition depots were also destroyed.
The Yug grouping reported that it had taken more advantageous positions on its section of the frontline and eliminated 130 Ukrainian servicemen. Ukrainian forces additionally lost three armored combat vehicles — including two American M113 infantry fighting vehicles — twenty vehicles, five supply depots and one fuel storage site.
A report submitted by the Zapad grouping to the General Staff stated that Ukrainian units in its area of responsibility lost 210 soldiers. Four armored combat vehicles, twelve pickup trucks, and six ammunition depots were destroyed alongside them.
The Vostok grouping reported the elimination of 220 Ukrainian troops. Over the same period, Ukrainian forces lost three armored vehicles, eight vehicles, an American M777 howitzer and an ammunition depot.
The Tsentr grouping assessed Ukrainian losses at 420 personnel within the day, while the Dnepr grouping reported the destruction of 40 Ukrainian soldiers and officers. In this sector, four pickup trucks, twelve vehicles, an electronic warfare station, and a supply depot were also destroyed.
In total, Ukraine’s daily losses amounted to 1,250 personnel.
