Russian Army Repels Ukrainian Sabotage Attempt in Zaporozhskoye

Russian troops repelled a Ukrainian sabotage group’s attack near Zaporozhskoye in Dnepropetrovsk region, destroying several militants and securing supply routes.
Russian forces of the «Vostok» group repelled a Ukrainian attempt to regain control over a supply route near the village of Zaporozhskoye in the Dnepropetrovsk region.
A source cited by RIA Novosti reported that during the clash several members of a Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance group (DRG) were eliminated. He explained that Ukrainian forces regularly try to retake control of the road with small diversionary groups and artillery strikes, since the route supplies their units in Kamyshevaha.
According to him, Ukrainian saboteurs usually attempt to infiltrate at night in groups of five to ten. However, all these attempts end the same way-they are destroyed, as Russian troops are already waiting for them.
The serviceman also noted that the Ukrainian army continues to try to recover lost positions and settlements, but these efforts consistently fail and only increase its losses.
The Russian Ministry of Defense previously confirmed that on August 25 the village of Zaporozhskoye in the Dnepropetrovsk region had been taken under full control by Russian troops.
