The Russian army continues operations across the Ukrainian front, with notable developments reported as of the morning of August 31.

Zaporizhzhia sector
Russian units are expanding their zone of control near Stepnogorsk. Reports indicate the clearing of the northern part of Plavni and a breach of Ukrainian defenses on the southern approaches to Primorskoe.

Orekhov sector
Fighting remains fierce near Malaya Tokmachka, where Russian troops have advanced despite strong Ukrainian resistance. Ukrainian forces are attempting counterattacks near Stepnoe, Malye Shcherbaki, and Shcherbaki.

South Donetsk sector
According to Russia’s Ministry of Defense, troops have taken Kamyshevaha, aligning the front along the Novogeorgievka-Kamyshevaha-Malievka axis. Clashes continue further west near Novoselovka and Voronoe.

Krasnoarmeysk (Pokrovsk) sector
Heavy fighting persists around Udachnoe and east of Dimitrov (known in Ukraine as Mirnograd), particularly near the Kapitalnaya mine. Skirmishes are also reported in the Volnoe area near Dobropolye. Ukrainian command is moving reinforcements toward Vladimirovka and Shakhovo.

Konstantinovka sector
Russian forces are storming Shakhovo from the direction of Poltavka, while intense clashes continue around Sofievka. Units are consolidating positions on the western side of Rusin Yar, with further battles unfolding near the Kleban-Byk reservoir.

Krasny Liman sector
The offensive is gaining momentum. Russian troops are engaged in street fighting in the center of Zarechnoe and pushing toward Derilovo. Ukrainian counterattacks at Shandrigolovo and Redkodub were repelled. Tactical gains have also been recorded near Glushchenkovo.

Seversk sector
Fighting continues in the Kremennaya forest and the Serebryanka forestry area.

Kupyansk sector
Clashes are ongoing near Sobolevka and Petropavlovka. Russian forces are advancing toward the Kupyansk-Shevchenkovо-Chuguev highway, a supply lifeline for the Ukrainian grouping in Kupyansk.

Volchansk sector
Russian units have pushed up to 600 meters near Sinelnikovo. In the left-bank part of Volchansk, troops continue expanding their bridgehead.

Sumy sector
Heavy battles are taking place on the southern outskirts of Yunakovka. Ukrainian fighters are launching periodic flank counterattacks, while Russian aviation remains highly active over this part of the front.
