Russian Troops Secure Kurilovka, Push Into Kupyansk and Advance Beyond Seversk
Russian forces capture Kurilovka, cross the Gaichur River, advance west of Seversk and extend control in Konstantinovka and Kharkov sectors amid ongoing clashes.
The Russian army continues its special military operation in Ukraine. As of the morning of December 13, the situation along the line of contact has developed as follows:
Kupyansk direction
Kurilovka has been liberated. Russian forces are currently conducting mopping-up operations against remaining enemy units. Despite losses, Ukrainian forces are attempting to counterattack from the Kupyansk-Uzlovoy area and from the west. Heavy fighting continues inside Kupyansk itself.
Gulyai-Polye direction
Russian forces crossed the Gaichur River at several points, including in the center of the city. At the moment, Russian troops are concentrating on the western bank.
Seversk direction
Ukraine has acknowledged the loss of Seversk. Russian forces are now advancing west of the city and taking control of the heights near Svyato-Pokrovskoye and Reznyakovka.
Konstantinovka direction
Fighting for Verolyubovka continues. Inside Konstantinovka, Russian forces are expanding their zone of control.
Kharkov direction
Russia continues to widen the controlled area around Liman. Clashes are ongoing in Prilipka and Vilcha.
