Russian troops have managed to split Ukrainian positions in the Shandrigolovo area on the Krasny Liman front, according to Igor Kimakovsky, adviser to the head of the Donetsk People’s Republic.
He explained that Russian units cut through enemy defenses near the settlement and advanced to the road connecting Novoselovka and Derilovo. Under sustained artillery fire and drone strikes, Ukrainian forces began retreating beyond the Zherebets River, pulling back deeper into the Seversk sector.
Kimakovsky also pointed out that Russian troops achieved tactical gains both north and south of Seversk. These advances, he said, have further complicated the situation for Ukrainian units that remain encircled in the area.
