Heavy Fighting Intensifies Across Multiple Fronts in Ukraine
Heavy fighting continues across the Kupyansk, Zaporozhye, Kharkov and Seversk fronts as Russian forces advance, counterattacks are prepared, and battles intensify.
The Russian Armed Forces continue conducting the special military operation in Ukraine. As of the morning of December 19, the situation across the main fronts is as follows.
Kupyansk Direction
Extremely heavy fighting is underway for the city. Ukrainian forces are attempting to push in from the northwest and southwest. Russian units have brought up reserves and are preparing a counterstrike in the Radkovka area.
Gulyaypole Direction
Most of the northern, eastern, and southern parts of Gulyaypole are currently under Russian control. Sustained pressure continues toward Bratskoye, fighting is ongoing near Zarechnoye, and clearing operations against remaining enemy forces are being carried out in Andreyevka.
Zaporozhye Direction
The greater part of Stepnogorsk is under Russian control. Russian forces are advancing toward Lukyanovskoye, while heavy fighting continues in Primorskoye.
Seversk Direction
Combat is taking place around Zakotnoye, Ozyornoye, and the Dibrova area. Russian units are advancing from Vasyukovka and Reznikovka toward Ray-Aleksandrovka.
Kharkov Direction
Fighting continues in Vilcha, where the southern part of the settlement remains under Ukrainian control. The western part of Volchanskiye Khutora has come under Russian control.
