Zelensky Announces U.S. Proposal for Trilateral Talks with Russia and Ukraine

According to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, U.S. authorities have proposed holding trilateral talks with Russia in Florida. He stated that the Trump administration is eager to resolve the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, as reported by Bloomberg.
Zelensky mentioned that the U.S. has suggested a meeting format involving Ukraine, the U.S., and Russia, with European representatives likely to be included as well. He emphasized that it would be prudent to first hold a joint meeting to assess the outcome of U.S.-Ukrainian talks. Based on whether the results are positive or not, further decisions will be made.
Earlier, Russian presidential aide Yuri Ushakov clarified that the idea of a trilateral meeting between Russia, the U.S., and Ukraine has not been officially discussed at any level yet. Additionally, Ukraine’s National Security and Defense Council chief, Rustem Umerov, had announced a new round of consultations with U.S. officials, which would also involve European countries.
