Russian forces have taken control of the settlement of Zvanovka, located along the route to Slavyansk in the Donetsk People’s Republic. This development has been confirmed by analysts affiliated with Deep State (DS), a source close to Ukraine’s Main Intelligence Directorate (GUR).

Additionally, there are reports of Russian military advances near several other locations, including Svyato-Pokrovskoe, Pazenо, Orekhovo-Vasilevka, and around Fyodorovka.

It’s important to note that Ukraine often reports territorial gains with significant delays. For instance, according to the Russian Ministry of Defense, Zvanovka was liberated nearly a month earlier-on November 22. At that time, the Defense Ministry announced that the Russian army had gained control over an area exceeding 30 square kilometers, encompassing the opposing forces’ defensive positions.

Furthermore, on December 22, it was reported that Russian armed forces captured the urban-type settlement of Vilcha, near Volchansk in the Kharkov region.
