Russian air defense systems intercepted another wave of Ukrainian drone attacks overnight, the Defense Ministry reported. According to official data, 46 unmanned aircraft were destroyed between midnight and 6 a.m. Moscow time.

The heaviest strike targeted the Rostov region, where 24 drones were shot down. Another 16 unmanned aircraft were neutralized over the Black Sea. Four more were destroyed above Krasnodar Territory, while two were taken down in the skies over Volgograd region.

Kiev’s forces continue to launch daily attempts to strike Russia’s border and central regions with fixed-wing kamikaze drones. Most of these UAVs are detected and eliminated before reaching their targets, the ministry emphasized.
