Russian Forces Advance Across Multiple Fronts in Ukraine — Situation Report for September 4


Russian troops push forward in Zaporizhzhia, Donetsk, Kharkov and other sectors. Full frontline update on military operations in Ukraine as of September 4.
As of the morning of September 4, the Russian Armed Forces continue offensive actions along several sections of the front line. The situation is developing as follows:
Zaporizhzhia Sector
Russian units are extending their foothold on the southern outskirts of Stepnogorsk. Ukrainian formations are attempting counterattacks in the area of Plavni.
South Donetsk Sector
Russian troops are storming Novoselovka. Despite Ukrainian countermeasures, Moscow’s forces remain entrenched in the eastern part of the settlement. Reports also indicate a tactical advance near Yanvarskoe.
Krasnoarmeysk (Pokrovsk) Axis
Russian formations are pushing toward Molodetskoe, edging closer to the administrative boundary with Dnepropetrovsk region. In the vicinity of Troyanda, Ukrainian troops are putting up stiff resistance. Fighting continues for Udachnoe and Novoeconomicheskoe.
Konstantinovka Sector
Russian units are advancing north of Poltavka and Rusin Yar. The situation around Kleban-Byk remains tense, with clashes reported.
Krasny Liman Sector
Russian forces are pressing south of Kolodezi and engaging in battles near Shandrigolovo and Zarechnoe. Heavy combat is also taking place around Srednee and Glushchenkovo.
Seversk Sector
Reports point to tactical gains for Russian troops in Pereezdnoe and further movement near Vyemka. The offensive along the Seversky Donets River continues, supporting the clearing of the Kremensky Forest by adjacent units.
Kharkov Sector
Russian troops are advancing in Kupyansk. The Russian Ministry of Defense has released footage confirming control over roughly half of the city. Progress is also reported west of Moskovka, with simultaneous assaults on Sobolevka from both the eastern and western flanks.
Sumy Sector
In the areas of Yunakovka and Andreevka, fighting persists, though the front line remains largely unchanged.
