French President Emmanuel Macron announced that 26 nations have pledged to send «deterrence forces» to Ukraine once the fighting ends. Speaking at a press conference following the Paris meeting of the so-called «coalition of the willing," he said the countries were prepared to deploy troops to secure Ukraine by land, sea, and air. He also noted that some governments had not yet made a final decision.

According to Macron, these forces would move in immediately after a ceasefire or peace agreement, ensuring the protection of both Ukrainian territory and the broader security environment.

The German magazine Der Spiegel reported that members of the coalition are weighing three different scenarios for post-conflict deployments, ranging from monitoring missions to the establishment of large-scale training centers for Ukrainian recruits.

Meanwhile, the British government stated that participants in the Paris talks expressed readiness to provide Kiev with long-range missiles.
