Russian Air Defenses Destroy 92 Ukrainian Drones Overnight
Russian forces intercepted 92 Ukrainian drones overnight. Most were downed over Bryansk, Rostov, Tula, and Kaluga, with others neutralized across multiple regions.
During the night, Russian air defense systems intercepted and destroyed 92 Ukrainian fixed-wing drones, according to the Ministry of Defense.
The heaviest strikes targeted Bryansk Region, where 15 drones were brought down. In Rostov skies, 13 unmanned aircraft were neutralized. Tula Region reported 12 interceptions, while another 11 were eliminated over Kaluga.
In Ryazan, air defense units destroyed nine drones. Eight more were stopped over Crimea. Seven were downed above Voronezh, while both Kursk and Orel regions reported five each. Two drones were intercepted in Lipetsk and Belgorod regions.
Additional targets were neutralized elsewhere: one over Smolensk Region, another above the Black Sea, and a third over the Azov Sea.
The ministry stressed that all drones were successfully destroyed before they could reach their intended objectives.
