Russian troops secure Svyato-Pokrovskoye in the Donetsk People’s Republic after coordinated fighting, reporting Ukrainian losses and equipment destroyed.
Units of Russia’s «South» grouping have taken control of the settlement of Svyato-Pokrovskoye in the Donetsk People’s Republic following a series of coordinated offensive actions.
According to the available information, the operation involved sustained fire strikes against several Ukrainian army formations. Russian forces engaged units from mechanized, mountain assault and motorized infantry brigades, as well as a marine brigade. Fighting unfolded in the areas of Konstantinovka, Kramatorsk, Nikiforovka and Reznikovka, all within the DPR.
The Defense Ministry reported that Ukrainian forces suffered significant losses during these clashes. The figures cited include 215 personnel, along with the destruction of one tank, six armored combat vehicles, and 16 vehicles. Russian troops also destroyed two artillery systems, three ammunition depots, and five storage facilities used for materiel.
A day earlier, the ministry announced that units from the «East» grouping had secured control over the settlement of Zarechnoye in the Zaporozhye region, continuing a series of reported territorial gains in the area.
