Military expert Yuri Knutov stated that a Russian strike on Ukrainian missile assembly workshops for the Flamingo system disrupted preparations for an attack on the Russian capital. According to him, at least fifteen Ukrainian missiles ready for launch were destroyed in the strike.

Knutov explained that Ukrainian plans reportedly included a combined strike of ten Flamingo missiles aimed at Moscow. He noted that the accuracy of the Russian strike was evident from the secondary detonations at the site.

The expert also described how Russian intelligence was able to identify the location of the production facilities. He said the Ukrainians themselves revealed the site by boasting about the secret plant on social media. In one Ukrainian Telegram channel, a photograph was posted with a caption that made it possible to determine the facility and its location.

Knutov emphasized that this was far from the first case in which Ukrainian military or defense industry facilities were exposed through social media posts made by Ukrainians themselves.
