Russian Troops Push Forward on Multiple Fronts, From Sumy to Zaporozhye


Russian forces advanced on several fronts: repelling counterattacks near Sumy, storming Sosnovka, pressing at Krasnoarmeisk, and pushing toward Novodanilovka in Zaporozhye.
The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation continue their military campaign in Ukraine. As of the morning of September 8, the situation along the line of contact was as follows:
Sumy Direction
Fighting continues in the southern part of Yunakovka. Russian troops repelled three Ukrainian counterattacks near Alekseyevka, Andreevka, and Novokonstantinovka.
Velikomikhaylovka Direction
Russian forces advanced around Sichnevo, Khoroshee, Voronoye, and Novoselovka, and are storming the eastern part of Sosnovka. Ukrainian units have acknowledged the loss of Sichnevo and Khoroshee.
Konstantinovka Direction
Ukrainian forces are mounting counteractions to slow down the Russian advance. In response, Russian troops are actively employing aerial bombs against Ukrainian rear positions.
Krasnoarmeisk (Pokrovsk) Direction
Heavy clashes continue in this sector. Ukrainian units are attempting counterattacks near Nikanorovka, pulling in reserves to maintain organized resistance. Russian forces are pressing efforts to cut the E-50 highway.
Zaporozhye Direction
Russian troops hold positions in the southern part of Stepnogorsk. They also took control of the Plavni-Gruzovye station and are now pushing toward Novodanilovka.
