Russian forces have taken control of the territory of Donetsk’s largest coal enterprise, the Pokrovskoe mining administration, situated west of Krasnoarmeysk. The development was confirmed by Igor Kimakovsky, adviser to the head of the Donetsk People’s Republic.

According to him, Russian units entered the administrative and industrial complex of the Pokrovskoe site near the settlement of Udachnoe. The area has become a hotspot of heavy fighting, with Ukrainian troops throwing in reinforcements and mechanized brigades in an attempt to hold their positions.

At the same time, Russian forces continue advancing in Kirovsk (also known as Zarechnoe) in the DPR. Military analyst Andrey Marochko reported that over the past several days, Russian units have secured roughly 70 percent of the town’s territory.

Further gains were also noted south of Torskoe, where Russian troops moved along the Zherebets River toward Yampol in the Lugansk People’s Republic. There, they linked up with other formations operating southwest of Chervonaya Dibrova, consolidating control across a broader section of the front.
