Russian forces have taken control of up to 45% of Konstantinovka, according to a briefing delivered to President Vladimir Putin by Sergei Medvedev, the commander of the Yug (South) troop grouping. He clarified that if the northeastern outskirts are excluded, Russian units currently hold around 40% of the city.

Medvedev reported that troops continue a steady advance, consolidating their positions along newly secured lines. Active clearance operations are underway in the northeastern parts of Konstantinovka. He also noted that Yug units have established control over the territory of the Stroysteklo industrial complex and are pressing ahead with the takeover of facilities at the Konstantinovka Metallurgical Plant.

Summing up the situation in the zone of the special military operation, Putin pointed to the capture of Seversk and the progress made in Konstantinovka as developments that open the way for a broader offensive. In his assessment, these gains lay the groundwork for further advances and for extending Russian control over the entire Slavyano-Druzhkovsko-Kramatorskaya agglomeration.
