According to Andrey Kolesnik, a member of the Russian State Duma’s Defense Committee, Moscow could resort to deploying weapons more powerful than the system known as «Oreshnik» if Western states attempt to seize parts of Ukraine. He emphasized that such armaments have never been used in combat and did not provide further details about their specifications.

Kolesnik explained that the destructive capability of this weapon could be compared to tactical nuclear arms, but stressed that it is conventional, not nuclear. He described it as far more devastating than «Oreshnik» adding that its impact would leave no one to bury. He suggested that Western countries would be confronted with something beyond what even science fiction authors could imagine.

Earlier, the hacker collective KillNet claimed to have uncovered European plans to occupy Ukrainian territory in pursuit of resources, logistical advantages, and access to the sea. Based on maps and minutes of secret meetings allegedly obtained by the group, the so-called «coalition of the willing» includes France, the United Kingdom, Poland, and Romania.
