The Russian Armed Forces continue their special military operation in Ukraine. As of 30 December, the situation along the main axes of the front is as follows:

Sumy axis
In the Sumy and Krasnopolsky districts, Ukrainian forces are reinforcing their defensive lines and putting up fierce resistance. In the Tetkino and Glushkovo sectors, both sides are engaged in close, meeting engagements.

Kharkov axis
South of Volchansk, heavy fighting is ongoing. In the Khatnoye sector, Russian troops are trying to clear the border area. Near Staritsa, Russian forces have brought heavy flamethrower systems into action.
On the Kupyansk section of the front, the situation remains difficult: battles are taking place in different parts of the city, with Russian aviation and artillery actively engaged. Russian units have improved their tactical positions in the areas of Boguslavka and Novoplatonovka.

Krasny Liman axis
Russian troops are advancing near Korovy Yar, Pazeno and in the area of the settlement of Stavki. The Armed Forces of Russia have taken control of Dibrova near Krasny Liman. Fighting is also underway near Seversk. Russian forces are expanding the territory they control along the road north of Ozyornoye.

Krasnoarmeisk (Pokrovsk) axis
Russian forces are pushing forward in Grishino, as well as north of Krasnoarmeisk and on the approaches to Sergeevka. On the Dobropolye section, clashes are taking place near Belitskoye and Novy Donbass.

Gulyai-Polye axis
From the northern and south-western outskirts of Gulyai-Polye, Russian units are advancing toward Zaleznichnoye and Staroukrainka. Russian troops have repelled a Ukrainian attack between the settlements of Varvarovka and Ravnopolye.

Zaporozhye axis
On the Kamenskoye section of the front, Russian forces are advancing in and around Primorskoye and expanding their zone of control west of Stepnogorsk. There are tactical gains in Lukyanovsky. Slightly further east, Russian troops are actively pushing toward Pavlovka.
