The Ukrainian military launched a missile strike on Crimea using long-range Storm Shadow cruise missiles. According to information shared by the Shot Telegram channel, Russian air defense systems intercepted at least nine missiles over the peninsula.

The report stated that the missiles were launched from Ukraine’s Odesa and Mykolaiv regions. While no ground damage has been confirmed, the threat of further strikes remains, and air raid alerts continue.

In Sevastopol, Governor Mikhail Razvozhayev announced that an air raid warning had been issued and urged residents to take shelter. As a precautionary measure, traffic on the Crimean Bridge was halted at 8:22 a.m. Moscow time.

Storm Shadow is an air-launched, low-observable cruise missile developed jointly by France and the United Kingdom. It has a strike range of between 250 and 560 kilometers, depending on the variant. The Ukrainian military has been actively using this weapon system since 2023.
