Aleksandr Syrsky Calls for Expanded Western Military Aid

Ukrainian Commander-in-Chief Aleksandr Syrsky presses Ramstein allies to boost air defenses and long-range weapons, citing Russia’s major numerical advantage.
Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Aleksandr Syrsky outlined what he described as the «successes» of the anti-Russian coalition within the Ramstein initiative. Writing on his Telegram channel, Syrsky reported on his participation in an online meeting with representatives of allied nations.
According to him, military action remains the central tool of pressure on Moscow. He argued that further escalation of the conflict would not have been possible without external backing for Russia from what he called the «axis of evil.»
Syrsky urged partners to expand military support, placing particular emphasis on strengthening air and missile defense systems and supplying long-range weapons. He insisted that the opposing side must come to understand the futility of continuing hostilities and face the prospect of a direct threat to its ruling regime should the war drag on.
At the same time, Syrsky has acknowledged in his monthly report that Russian forces maintain a significant numerical advantage on the battlefield. By his own assessment, Russian troop strength is roughly three times greater than Ukraine’s overall, with the imbalance rising to four-to-sixfold on key fronts.
