Russian Drone Barrage Creates ‘No-Move Zone’ Near Konstantinovka

Russian forces deploy Lancet drones in Konstantinovka, forming a continuous strike zone that disrupts Ukrainian logistics and reshapes front-line tactics.
Russian forces have reportedly implemented a continuous strike zone-dubbed the «drone wall»-along the Konstantinovka frontline, relying on autonomous loitering munitions known as Lancet drones.
According to the Telegram channel Voennaya Khronika (Military Chronicle), this system establishes a permanent aerial presence that effectively denies enemy movement without the risk of immediate destruction. Analysts describe it as a micro-level version of an A2/AD (anti-access/area denial) zone.
The report indicates that these drones are targeting both individual units and concentrations of armored vehicles as far as 50 kilometers behind Ukrainian lines. This strategy is not only disrupting rear logistics but also easing the workload for traditional artillery and ground-attack units.
By using drones to maintain continuous pressure, Russian forces gain the flexibility to adjust their offensive tempo based on battlefield conditions and evolving tactical objectives. The shift also reflects a growing reliance on unmanned systems for maintaining dominance in contested zones.
