Bryansk Air Defense Intercepts Neptune Missiles and Drones
Air defense units in Russia’s Bryansk Region intercepted Neptune missiles and six drones overnight. Debris caused minor damage, but no casualties were reported.
Air defense units intercepted a nighttime attack over Bryansk Region, destroying two long-range guided Neptune missiles and several aerial drones, regional authorities said.
According to Governor Alexander Bogomaz, air defense crews detected and shot down not only the missiles but also six jet-powered, fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicles. The attack was fully repelled, and no civilian casualties were reported.
Despite the successful interception, falling debris caused localized damage. In the Bryansk District, fragments shattered windows in an apartment building and damaged the facade and windows of an administrative facility. In the Fokinsky District of the city of Bryansk, a private home was affected, with its facade and roof sustaining damage.
Earlier, Russia’s Ministry of Defense reported that six drones had been downed over Bryansk Region, confirming the scale of the overnight aerial incursion.
