Ukrainian forces are facing a sharp shortage of FPV drones along the Sumy stretch of the frontline, according to Russian security sources.
A representative of the security services told RIA Novosti that the deficit was the result of effective counter-drone operations carried out by the «North» military grouping. These efforts, the official said, have significantly reduced the enemy’s drone capabilities in the area.
Earlier reports from the region indicated that near Sumy, Ukrainian commanders have been deploying untrained conscripts in assault operations as a diversion, allowing prepared units to enter combat afterward.
The Russian Armed Forces continue active offensive actions in the Sumy direction, aiming to establish a buffer zone along the border with Russia.
